Part 7: How to write engaging posts for your new friends

Posted by admin at April 14, 2010 | Category Free Course

Welcome to part 7 – How to write engaging posts for your new friends

So far we’ve looked at how to target and identify our the right Facebook users and then invite them to become your friends.

Once you’ve started adding friends (and don’t forget my Social Network Marketing  ebook explains how to do this with minimal effort if you’re struggling) then it’s time to ask yourself…

“What am I going to post to my new found Facebook Friends”

Well the real question is “What should I definitely NOT post!”

Things to steer clear of are

  • Endlessly posting the same links to your website
  • Just posting “please buy my product”
  • Negative posts or negative comments against other people
  • Telling people what you just ate for dinner!

actually this could could turn into a long list but the big no-no here is just posting links to your sales pages – it’s not going to cut too much ice with your audience!

So what is going to work?

Well a good place to start is by getting yourself a blog and writing some content that’s both relevant to your market and interesting.

Ideally, it’s best if your blog is integrated into your website, so when people come to read the articles they can easily click through to your sales page – and don’t forget any traffic will be FREE!

But if you’re a complete novice, just set up a free blog on blogger.com or wordpress.com (I personally use wordpress) and your blog will be up and running in minutes.

Or if you don’t have a website or your own business, why not review products that you’ve bought online, and earn some affiliate commission.

TIP: only review things that you actually found useful and valuable if you want people to start reading your reviews.

If you don’t know where to start you can find some useful information about clickbank on our affiliates page.
